Senior Eyewear Designer and Product Developer

I was the Senior Eyewear Designer and Product Developer at Roland Mouret. I was solely responsible for looking after the eyewear category from the very beginning of the design process right through to production. I worked very closely with Roland and also the sales team and drove the initial design briefs from research and mood boards through to design development and final drawings. As the Eyewear category was new at Roland Mouret i was the only employee to be working on this category and as well as designing and product development i was in charge of the critical path and ensured all deadlines were met. I was responsible for looking after the production, from placing orders to quality control at the factories and made regular trips to the factories at vital stages of the development process. At the factories i followed up on prototype amendments, sample manufacturing and key stages of the production process.
